Joe, have you heard about Moyo Island. That’s my backpacking destination this december, but have to postpone. I just recently move to new company and it’s sound like “mission impossible” to off duty for a week!

What's up Joe? I'd recommend your blog to anyone who wants to get a feel for the size and shape of Indonesia. The blog has a certain rhythm. It's like you're bouncing off the walls like a mime. And that's what it takes to come up to speed here. The Go-Jek connection brings it all together. You can't afford to move any slower these days. Although, after downsizing over the years from Silver, to Blue to 'jek, I must admit that for the most part I'm now my own ojek driver as I'd rather smell my own pits than some other dude's. Hi Angelina,

Thanks for the comment. I completely agree that Jakarta already has a large number of motorcycles, that is why Go-Jek actually partners with existing ojek drivers rather than increase the total population of drivers.

By doing this we are not taking business away from the hardworking drivers, but we are rather helping to improve their livelihood.

I personally think Jakarta has too much motorcycles already. And adding more wouldn’t solve the traffic problem. As from the enterpreneurship point of view, this is a smart one though.
